F4 Special Edition OST and Music Drama

Just as we thought that it’s over, the Flower 4 presented us a special music album.

The highlight of this album is that it contains songs which are sung by the F4 actors themselves: Kim Jun’s “Empty Bet”, Kim Bum’s “I’m Going to Meet Her”, Kim Hyun Joong’s “Thing Called Happiness” and Lee Min Ho’s “My Everything”.

And there’s more! A special music drama features each of the F4 members and their songs in the album – So Yi-Jung, Song Woo-bin, Yun Ji-hoo and Gu Jun Pyo give us a hint of their whereabouts after 5 years. Oh wow! Boys Over Flowers really never fails to make me smile.

The following is not the exact track listing for this Special Edition soundtrack. I just collect the songs of the music dramas and sort out the others which were not included in the previous two albums.

01. Gu Hye-sun – I Only Know Love

This is the lovable song played and sung by Geum Jan-di on the piano at Jun-pyo’s birthday party in Episode 15.

 
02. Lee Min-ho – My Everything

This is the song used for F4 After Story Music Drama – Episode 4 featuring Gu Jun-pyo.

 
03. SS501 – Sometimes

This is the song used for F4 After Story Music Drama – Episode 3 featuring Yun Ji-hoo.

 
04. Kim Bum – I’m Going to Meet You Now

This is the song used for F4 After Story Music Drama – Episode 1 featuring So Yi-jung.

 
05. Kim Jun – To Make Empty

This is the song used for F4 After Story Music Drama – Episode 2 featuring Song Woo-bin.

 
06. Kim Hyun-joong – Thing Called Happiness

 
07. A’ST1 & T-Max – The Heart Seemed To Do It Somehow

This is another song that I really like and is played at the end of each episode in Season 2.

It is played in Episode 21 when Ji-hoo offers to wipe Jan-di’s tears and later, when Jun-pyo kneels down and begs to Jae-kyung.

“I try to comfort myself with the lie that I’m happy if you just smile… because the place you’re going towards is not me.”

 
08. T-Max – Fight The Bad Feeling

This features Kim Joon on the narration. The title can be translated “Thinking Wrong Thoughts,” but the full connotation is something like, “I keep thinking, against my better judgment, these feelings that I know are wrong.”

I love the message of this song. It’s like telling yourself to forget someone you love because for some reason you can’t be together… but just the thought of it already gives you a bad feeling.

This song is played in Episode 20, in Jun-pyo’s point of view while he watches Jan-di sleep. And then, it played again in the same episode, in Jae-kyung’s point of view while she watches Jun-pyo sleep. It also played in Episode 22, in the airport, when Jae-kyung finally says her goodbye.

“I know that this shouldn’t happen. If you say this is a lie, will my feelings for you return?”

“You keep making me have bad thoughts… the heart that wants to forget you is not a good heart to me…”

10. Lee Ji-hye – A Heart Cannot Be Hidden

This song is played in Episode 23 when Ga-eul shows the billboards that bears Eun-jae’s message for Yi-jung.
