Yey! I am so happy today… hmm, just because of some simple and unanticipated reasons. n_n
1) On my way to work this morning (at the Fort), nakasabay ko sa bus si Arjay, a dear highschool friend and classmate. Actually, natanaw ko lang pala siya. He’s sitting on the end side and I’m standing in the middle aisle of the bus. He didn’t see me. And medyo alanganin din naman na sumigaw ako para tawagin siya. So nang bumaba na ako, I waved my hand outside until he looks my way. Yahoo! We were able to give each other a smile. And then, that’s it. What a surprising way to start the morning. ^^
2) VBA Code. I’m busy working on our client’s project in the afternoon. Sa mga ganitong pagkakataon, may sarili na akong mundo at hindi na masyadong pansin ang mga kaluskos sa paligid. Hehe. When I raise my head from the monitor of my workstation, I saw Jeff Fabile, a college friend whom I have not seen since graduation (more than 2 years ago). Wow! I know that we’re working in the same building but we have different schedules so we didn’t really had a chance na magkita. And then, he’s here and he dropped by to see me. Konting kamustahan. Konting kwentuhan. Konting ngitian. Hay sarap. ^^
3) Early evening, Sarah, another special high school girlfriend also came around to see me. May imi-meet kasi siyang friend within our building so dinaanan niya rin ako in my work area. Nice. (I’ve got a lot of unexpected visitors today.) Chikahan. Saglit lang. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam. ^^
Yes, those were the moments that made me feel happy today. Ang babaw noh? Pero diba ang saya, na out of the blue, nasasalubong mo yung mga taong matagal mo ng hindi nakikita. Parang surprise! And then you’ll feel na nami-miss mo na pala sila. It makes you remember the friend you have in them. I miss. n_n
P.S. Before I go home, dumaan muna ako sa Powerbooks. I was browsing through a line of books when I saw one that I’ve been wanting to buy dati pa. The last time I called different bookstores here in the Philippines, I was told that it’s already phased out. It’s only available for pre-order and I will have to shoulder the shipping fee. A pre-ordered book would cost around Php700 to Php750. Online, it only cost $10 or Php450 to Php500. Ang laki ng difference diba? So dedma na lang muna kahit gustong-gusto ko na.
But now, it’s here! Yehey! And it’s only Php369. Happiness! ^^,
Truly, “Good things come to those who wait” talaga ang feeling ko ng mabili ko ung book. By the way, it’s “I Am the Messenger” by Markus Zusak.
